Waterfall Way Gallery is a boutique gallery in the picturesque rural town of Dorrigo, in northern New South Wales (Australia). It promotes artists and musicians from across the Waterfall Way region.
Our October-November exhibition is SURVEY, featuring over 30 oil paintings by Rudy Kistler, plus Three Nudes and Number 23 by Peter Mortimore. Join us for a mid-exhibition party at 5.30 PM, 31 October. There will be a 30% reduction on the price of Rudy’s artwork for the party.
One of the three most scenic drives in Australia, Waterfall Way extends from Raleigh on the coast, to Armidale, 167 kilometres inland. An area of great natural beauty, the region includes Coffs Harbour's sparkling beaches and mangroves, the Bellinger Valley's lush floodplains, ancient Gondwana rainforest and dairy pastures on the rolling hills of the Dorrigo Plateau and, closer to Armidale, dry eucalypt forests studded with dramatic rocky outcrops and deep gorges.
The stunning landscapes, welcoming communities, and comfortable lifestyle have attracted many fine artists and musicians to call this region home. Dorrigo is situated about half way along the 2.5 hour drive.
Waterfall Way Gallery is coordinated by a subcommittee of the Dorrigo Plateau Music School, Inc., a volunteer-based not-for-profit incorporated association that fosters music education for children on the Dorrigo Plateau.
