Call for ARtwork

If you would like to exhibit your artwork at Waterfall Way Gallery, please download our Information Brochure for artists and volunteers here. Our fees structure for 2019 exhibitions has just been released. Please download a copy of our Fees and Fine Print here.

Feel free to contact the Gallery via the Contact Us page for more information, or to make a time to meet with the curator in person. You will be asked to send some photographs of your work, and a short biography. Submissions will be passed to the curatorial committee for selection. Artists and artisans from across the Waterfall Way region (from the coast to Tamworth) — including painters, print-makers, photographers, glassblowers, jewellers, fabric artists, sculptors, and woodworkers — are all warmly encouraged to exhibit.

The Gallery hosts six two-month exhibition a year. Most exhibitions start on the first Saturday of even-numbered months, and run for two calendar months, minus setup time. Applications for solo, duo, and group exhibitions are welcome, or you can just put forward two or three artworks for inclusion in a general exhibition. The general exhibitions may be loosely clustered around themes. Please feel free to suggest a theme, or themes, that you think would suit your work. Associated merchandise (cards, calendars, bags, cups, bookmarks, etc) featuring your artwork may also be exhibited, at the discretion of the curator.

You can download the Exhibition Entry Form here. Entry forms are due by the 1st day of the month prior to exhibition. Artists are encouraged to submit forms well in advance to be sure of securing a place in the exhibition of their preference. Exhibition fees are due when the artwork is delivered, although fees may be waived if an artist volunteers to staff the gallery.

Any profits are used to support the work of the Dorrigo Plateau Music School, Inc. in fostering music education for children on the Dorrigo Plateau.
